Bible As The Word of God

We believe the Bible is the inspired inerrant word of God and is profitable for correction, reproof, and instruction in righteousness. See 2 Timothy 3:16. It is the foundation of everything we believe in, teach and practice.

Jesus, The Only Means Of Salvation

We believe that Jesus is the eternal, self-existent God: The Immanuel With Us and is not a created being. Even though He is fully God, we believe that according to the Bible, He took upon Himself the form of a man to live and die for our sins. We also believe that He rose from the dead three days later and eventually returned to heaven after 40 days to serve as our high priest and mediator. We also affirm that any life without Christ is like an unsharpened pencil; it has no point. Isaiah 9:6; Acts 4:12; John 3:16.

The Human Family Was Lost Because Of Sin

We believe that evil exists and with it, sin. Why it was permitted has perplexed many minds. The only reliable answer is found in the Bible. The Bible tells us that all have sinned and the penalty for our sin was paid on the cross of calvary in Jesus' death. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23. By believing on Jesus Christ and accepting by grace of His shed blood, we receive the gift of eternal life. "Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:9.

Obedience To The Ten
Commandments Shows Love To God

We believe that because we love Jesus as creator and redeemer and for His sacrificial death, we want to obey Him as He commands in John 14:15 "If You love Me, keep my commandments." We also believe that we are not saved nor can never be saved by our obedience and good works.
But, because we are saved, we choose to keep His commandments out of love for Him and because it is His guide for successful human living. The last chapter of the Bible gives a benediction with a special promise "Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city." Revelation 22:14.

God's Word Alone Reveals The Future With 100% Accuracy

We also believe that every fulfillment of prophecy is a confirmation of the Bible's truthfulness and reliability, including the prophecies concerning the manner of Jesus' first and second coming, the antichrist and the mark of the beast. See Matthew 24:32-51; Daniel 7:19-26; Revelation 13:11-18. 14:9-12. God challenges every skeptic and doubter with His ability to accurately predict the future. He declares, "Remember the former things of old: For I Am God, . . . and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done." Isaiah 46:9.10. As Bible students we accept His prophetic testimony without question.

God Wants Us To Enjoy Good Health

We believe that God's original diet for man was a simple but wholesome and nourishing diet. We also believe that both food and drink should be nourishing and non-stimulating, and as Bible believers we should lead temperate lives.
